Welcome to
Americans History Network

Www.AmericansHistoryNetwork.com, is a result of requests Grandma Ginny Americas History Lady received at www.AmericasHistoryLady.com,
another of Americas History Lady web sites. The two sites are linked.

At the latter web site she has received requests to provide a central location for authors, historians, educators, and serious history buffs to write about and discuss American History. Some of her web site viewers just want an easily accessible interface so that when traveling they can plan their trip around historic sites along the way. Others just want an all encompassing center point to fine historic locations for the purpose of researching that which has occurred, is occurring, or will occur at many of the historic sites in America.

Americans History Network will be a work in progress for a long time since there are over 80,000 nationally recognized historic sites in America to which to travel and/or research

(cont'd next column)

Historic locations found on Americans History Network are here by invitation only. Many sites you will find here are in my soon to be published book, 1776 Historic Places to Visit in America ...and their stories.

The gray spaces, separated by red blocks, on the Home page/Front Page, provide an opportunity for invited historic sites to post information about special events they are celebrating, such as holding of a reenactment, a Golden Jubilee, or other important special events that should receive special attention that month.

Always click on the web address, or call the phone number provided by the historic site, to confirm dates and times they are open.

When you click on a button to the far left of this column, you will be linked to the Americans History Network page for the "state or commonwealth " named on the button. On the "state or commonwealth " page you will find invited historic sites located in that state, categorized by county, city or town. Americans History Network is "one stop history shopping" for those seeking to, "stay current on the latest about the past".

If you are age 6 through 17 you might want to become a member of the "American History Club For Kids."
